Kool aid part 2

Ok, so this is part two, and i like this method much more. It is much quicker and has much better color.

All you need is
one kool aid packet
one cup of water
a bowl (one that wont adapt the color)
something to boil in
a blowdryer
a spoon
hair ties
paper towels

1. Measure one cup of water

Boil the water

Pour the water into your bowl and mix in the kool aid

tie off what hair you want to be dyed. This makes the lengths even and gives you a visual referance of how much of your hair is being dyed.

Dip your hair into the bowl only to the ties. (please ignore the super awkward photo)
Wait for about 5 min, then pull out your hair and soak the excess dye up with a paper towel wrapped around where you dyed

then blow dry it out

and here is your end result!
A beautiful, vibrant dye for your hair!

Kool Aid Hair Dye Part 1

So i wanted to dye my hair will kool aid. So I did!
I tryed two differant ways.
1. The paint on paste :P
2. The dip dye kind
I found that the dip dye works a lot better. It was more vibrant and did not take nearly as long. I will tell you how to do both.
Part one is the paste, i will post a second part with the dip dye

1. first you will want to get all your supplies

Kool aid
I found the grape looked mostly brown :( and the cherry and the fruit punch look the same

 you will need
Kool aid
something to tie ur hair with and hold it up. (i used fabric strips to tie and bobby pins to hold up)
conditioner (i recommend a colorless (white) conditioner)
brush
old tee
saran wrap
tin foil
bowls for the kool aid
spoons

Add a small amount of conditioner to each mix. Just enough to make it into a paste.

add a little, and i mean LITTLE amount of water to each mix to make it a bit more runny. But not soupy.

next, take a piece of hair and rub the mixture into it. You want everything you want dyed to be evenly covered.
then wrap the hair in the saran wrap
then the tin foil
i suggest wearing gloves or a bag like me

otherwise ur hands will look like this ( crazy dyed and its permenant)
when all the pieces are wrapped, pin them to the top of your head to keep them out of the way.

wait a few hours. The longer you wait the better the color (suposedly) i waited only about two hours. Then you want to unpin your hair
and pull off the wrapping
and rinse ir hair in the sink
And your finished product is a very light color. But i wanted a darker color, so on to dye type two
